I thought the Nost team were subtle and astute to provide those couple of weeks of lead time, as it gave Bliz time to think - they're a corporate entity, so they don't move fast. As it turned out it also fortunately gave time for a large public outcry to development.

Of course, it might just have been they needed the time to do dev work to get the release made.

Either way, we've got what we've got, and it's as good as it could be hoped to be, so far.

Exactly.

I hope they will never release the source code so that the toxic people who are waiting to jump on the fresh dead corpse like the vulture they are and try to make a profit server out of it will not be able to do so.

Nostalrius, you have played this perfectly since Blizzard served you notice.

As a result of your actions, you haven't alienated Blizzard and you have brought us so close to what we want which is legacy servers that are official.

Thank you so much and keep doing the good work.

No one has sold me out, nor would I give anyone such power over me to have the ability to sell me out, so I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Simple logic, Nostalrius team call themselves "Ambassadors":
Daemon wrote:A. Ambassadors of Legacy servers

But they changed their mind about their initial statement "we will be releasing the source code" by telling now
Daemon wrote:B. Nostalrius source code and database won’t be released

which is oppotrunistic move they could repeat any time regarding any matter as they did it once. You defended that with many advocative words, but on the other hand you don't want being represented by any "ambassador", who can change his mind as "things change".

Don't you see any discrepancy in that position?

They don't represent me. Don't you get that? Not sure how much more clear I can make that statement.

If you actually read my original post I did not "advocate" anything, so you may want to understand what I'm saying and what the word "advocative" actually means before putting a label on it that isn't accurate. My post was all about the judgment you made based upon your understanding of the conversations between Nost and Blizz. I wasn't there so how would I know???!!!
