You asking about them at Blizzcon is not going to do anything.
Its just being rude at this point. They obviously have a big WoW announcement to make, and they released the statement about not having any update on Legacy because they want to focus on that.

At this point, continually bringing it up at Blizzcon is having the opposite effect. Blizzard is obviously aware there is a small portion of the playerbase that would greatly enjoy legacy compared to their live playerbase, and let's hope they support those players. Realistically, it wouldn't happen any time soon.
Best outcome for everyone would be for Nost to just reopen, because if Blizzard DID host their own servers, it would be a long time before it was playable.

Rude? Lets talk about rude "You think you do but you dont". Or the fact that after all requests, they gave us the middle finger saying shit like "we are still talking about it". If you dont push and continue to show your interest in this, there is absolutly 0 chance blizzard will ever do it. I dont think it will do any major difference, but why not spend 3 seconds for the love of legacy, stop being such a **** ;)

I don't think bugging Blizzard about Legacy still is gonna achieve anything. Tbh i'd advice against that because as things are now and Nost (hopefully) reopens Blizz might just decide it to ignore it this time and just let it be (if they don't plan to make Legacy ever). If we keep attacking them they might retaliate in some way.

P.S at the end of the day we don't own that company, we can't tell them what they should do, sure they now know we'd like to have Legacy but its still their freedom to be like "ok u'd like that, we'd like Porche to still produce their oldest models, both things ain't happening"

This is just silly nonsense, how is showing that there is still a big interest "attacking"? I think everyone knows we dont own Blizzard, but showing them that there is a market to please is a win win for both parties. All of their responses up til this point have pretty much been damage control. If you think a petition like this would damage the private server momvement you are really naive, if anything it shows that we still want it (and that its not just nostalgia).

Hoping blizz never makes offical legacy servers (so we MAYBE get Nost back) and instead continue to go after private servers is an argument id expect from a 14 year old, comon...

Some of you kids are cute lol. Let me break this down for you.

Blizzard is their own company. If they want to turn WoW into super casual fun time, that is their decision. There is nothing rude about it. There is nothing wrong about it. This is their decision.

If Blizzard doesn't want to make make Legacy right now, it is their decision.
If Blizzard still wants to discuss and think about Legacy, it is their decision.
If Blizzard decides that Legacy is a horrible idea, it is their decision.

There is nothing RUDE or DISRESPECTFUL about them not bowing to our wishes.
There is nothing RUDE or DISRESPECTFUL about them shutting private servers down to appease copyright laws.
There is nothing RUDE or DISRESPECTFUL about them giving us basic PR speech to buy time.

Blizzard's priority is to their LOYAL and ACTIVE SUBSCRIBERS, NOT to its former subscribers and to those who badmouth their product.

Lastly, on a separate note, why in the world would you even trust Blizzard at this point to create legitimate legacy servers that don't cater to the lazy masses of current players?

In fact this is exactly what did not happen. Blizzard could have said legacy servers are not on their list, not now and not in the future. But they didn't. The only thing they said is that there is nothing to report at blizzcon.

And by your logic we shouldn't act like 5 year olds any longer and just accept the world as it is right now. No need to ask for something, we don't wanna act like 5 year olds, do we? Global warming, pff who cares!

Its never wrong to stand up for something you want / are convinced about.

We're saying its rude and disrespectful of Blizzard to shut down private vanilla servers. We're not playing on private vanilla servers because its free of subscription but because there IS NO ALTERNATIVE PROVIDED BY BLIZZARD.

It's not like they're driving us to Legion by doing this.
