Fenix is bad bc they are lazy and never fixed it. And no it will not ruin the experience. Leveling makes up a small proportion of the game u play...

If feenix is 10 years old, why isn't it working properly?

Because Feenix.

I would probably wonder the same thing if I didn't experience it and realize what they're all about.

broken quests, quests that work but should be polished, add missing quests, regular quests, class quests, escort quests, elite and group quests, mobs (+ rare/elite mobs) and all their immunites, ressistances, reputation, aggro range, hp & mana, spells and abilites and when do they cast them and how do they cast them, when they are low on health to run for aid, armor, equipment, min & max damage, attack power, attack speed, loot table, drop rates, their buffes and debuffes, their interruption spells, their positioning, their patrol route if they are moving, their gossips etc...

Yeah it would be a paradise, but it would be too long to test ; and even if you have a lot of time, the major difficulty here is to find sources, i don't know all the hp and mana, armor, equipment, min & max range, attack power, attack speed of all the mobs of WoW. And for the loot table we don't have it too ; the wowhead loot tables are not blizzlike since they count those who loot the mobs without the quest. So you can't make it really über blizzlike.
I think that preventing bugs on quests is a good thing, and fix some other bugs like patrols and mobs underwater, and it would be a good experience.

Well I know for kronos that you can check this in their database, like the elite mob Gammerita for example has the patrol path. https://vanilla-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?npc=7977

You can check the loot tables too for example for the rare Mugglefin in Ashenvale: https://vanilla-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?npc=10643

It's just very convenient to have a database to check if things have been overlooked, I hope nostalrius is going to have one too...

Peacebringer wrote:for example all mobs that have spell to summon their minion, if you slay mob's summoned pet they should start casting spell to resummon their pet, here is example for Burning Blade Cultist located in Durotar http://db.valkyrie-wow.org/?npc=3198#abilities, also for Fizzle Darkstorm also located in Durotar has some special spells that he rarely cast on private servers because A.I. is completly bugged (referring to mangos default state) http://db.valkyrie-wow.org/?npc=3203#abilities, these mentioned mobs are only examples in the jungle of buggs, then I remember there were some mobs that had spell to drink potion when they are low on health (murlocs in Elwynn forest and some ogres as far as I can remember),

I have never heard of this before, have you got any proof (retail vids or somthing) that mobs resummon their minion? It's not because it is like that on Valkyrie that it is correct. If you are fighting a mob it should be fighting you, not resummoning their minions. An exception are the goblin engineers in deadmines that summon the golems (https://vanilla-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?npc=622#abilities)

And that mobs use health potions? I can't remember any of that in vanilla.

Peacebringer wrote:one more thing is that when you pull more than one mob, 5 for example, they should not stand in one standplace, they should not overlapp but they should spread, here is proof https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzbUL5y ... j3AOXmmlrw, then some mobs (not all ofc) should "cry out for help" and run to the closes mob for assistance when mob is low on health, mind control casting by mobs etc...)

A tester on Kronos made a video to showcase the mob spreading and fleeing mobs being properly freezeable

Here is Nost's DB. Don't think it's updated to this server though. Obviously still in French too, so /shrug http://db.nostalrius.org/

yes murlocs would drink HP potions, i guess most people dont notice if you kill em quick enough and i believe it was a cast to drink the potion.
i found it in the database : http://db.vanillagaming.org/?npc=46#abilities
murloc forager does drink the potion
Murloc Lurker does a backstab.

same goes for re summoning their minion. often they re-summon if the fight just takes ages..

it's not like they re-summon on the fly the minion is killed, it might take 30 seconds before they do that again.

about the multiple npc's being pulled, whenever there are more then 3 they will start lining up in a moon / circle around you.
if you pull lets say 30 at onces, like is common in graveyard of Scarlet Monastery and kill em neatly they are spread in a circle. i was trying to find a screenshot but cant ;(
im sure this is when you aggro them and before they reach you and stand still.
not sure if its also when you move around and stop walking at a certain point if they will still swarm around you, since when you are running they will line up behind you all over eachother

and as an addition,
i cna only think of 1 mob that summons a whole bunch of minions.
its in Molten Core, fire elemental was always fun to have like 50 minions follow u around MC untill they despawn.

So is this gonna be a continuation of the PvE test? No new npc's, just gear vendors and instance teleporters? The OP mentions that "The goal for us will be to check server stability by having players doing a lot of differents things everywhere", though. Will we get the battleground queue NPC's, at least? Or will you go ahead and make the entire world available, with all the mobs and quests? Cause that would be really awesome.
