I totaly agree with you. But this isn't raiding content or anything that can have major effect on the gameplay or the server itself. ...

Don't take me wrong, this is no life or death issue for me either, I too was just expressing my opinion on the matter. In the end it's up to the developers how they will implement this in the long run.

My main reason why I would want them to keep us on a short leash even in cosmetics is because that is also part of the Vanilla feel for me. It's nostalgia, history.

But it's not like I go ragequit if everyone and their mother will be running around on white raptors. :p

But visually it would really be similar to half the server running around on black scarab mounts "earned" through donations.

I believe this is a reference to the fact that the pre 1.4 troll mounts were really fucking cool, implying that less people will roll undead and instead roll troll for the dope ass white raptor.
