Which expansion did you quit playing retail WoW?

Cata, but came back for WoD and still play and like it.

i like playing vanilla more though, so i find myself playing on nost more

Playing WoW since Vanilla.
Got hacked sometime at the end of BC and had to start a new account and I'm still playing on that one.
Only doing random PvP right now, but used to do a ton of arena, bgs, duels and heroic/mythic raiding.

But nowadays rated PvP just feels boring to me.

I don't like the direction the game is going, so I started a new character here.

Played vanilla retail, quit early on into TBC. As a kid it was hard for me to get over the fact that all my raid loot was going to be replaced by greens.

Started playing mid-late vanilla. Didnt cap until BC. Stopped playing at the end of WotLK, just before ruby sanctum was released.

I stopped after TBC. Though I wish I continued to play throughout the Crusade, I didn't have much time and was going through some personal issues. I'm back now and tried to play some retail but I realized I hit 100 in about 3 weeks starting from level 70. I don't really like the way my Rogue feels on retail so I wanted to go back to where it all started.

Started at vanilla, left after Rated Bg first season on cataclysm ( i didnt like most of the changes, also they changed rated BG just to 10 vs 10 groups which requires less strategy than 15 vs 15 groups, had a great performance on that season anyway)

Started in wotlk, stopped playing in cataclysm when LFR was released. Spent most of my time soloing old content so Nostalrius was a perfect fit for experiencing it all properly.
Also started playing WoD a little while back and dropped out after seeing how much they screwed their content.
(cutting promised content, a content patch having no actual content, rehashing dungeons to fill in a void of content, literally every reputation having a recolor of the same 4 mounts, weak endgame outside of dedicated raiding, ability pruning, timewalking instead of anything fresh..)
Not to mention Legion looks like an all-in mish-mash of themes that could've been used for several expansions.
