Which expansion did you quit playing retail WoW?

Quit in Cata. The changes to 10/25 man loot killed every 25m raiding guild on my server and 10m just didn't feel "epic" anymore.

I came back for about 2 months to raid DS with some irl friends and quit again. Played MOP for about 3 months and quit after getting my legendary cloaks. The game never held my attention long after wotlk.

I actually JUST started WoD yesterday and so far the lore while leveling is amazing.

Cata. I had a lot of fun in Wintergrasp, but its successor in Cata (with a name I can't remember) was just two zergs chasing each other around. And the world was dead and empty.

I've been very up and down with how I played retail content, but technically all of them except TBC lol.
-Quit in vanilla for a year in late 2005 because it was affecting my college performance.
-Played every month of TBC, fucking dope xpac 8)
-Quit before Ulduar released. I actually regret this a good deal.
-Played Cata launch and quit during first raid content. Dreadfully boring crap. Came back for Firelands, then saw "Dragon Soul" and the introduction of LFR and laughed my way to the uninstall button.
-MoP to WoW is basically The Phantom Menace to Star Wars. Needless to say I refused to play it.
-Played WoD until February, better than the last two xpacs but not good enough to keep me paying money.
