Which expansion did you quit playing retail WoW?

i quit after wotlk, i played cataclysm for a short period of time, then i realised it is not going to get better ever
i just shift+deleted wow folder

im glad that i did that

after retail i played on AT 3.3.5 WOTLK and Hellground TBC and archangel TBC a little
these servers were 1235885423x better than retail

That would be Cataclysm, not only because the game generally changed for the worse but because after the epic ending of Wrath it felt like there was nothing more interesting in the WoW lore (at least for the average Joe like myself. I am sure people who follow the lore closer, still find interest in it.). I mean, I was 15 when W3 came out and beating Arthas in Wrath just felt like it was the end of the road.

Started in Vanilla just before BWL was released. Raided through AQ40, took a short break before TBC came out. Raided TBC through half of sunwell and again took a break until WotLK came out.

Raided WotLK through Heroic LK and quit just before Cata came out.

Came back to try Cata for a little bit but it just wasnt the same and quit after a month or so.

Played a little bit of MoP but same thing - got bored and didn't play more than a few weeks.

Haven't touched WoD.

bought an account for a few bucks in wotlk and then they released ulduar and I quit 2 months after that, didn't come back until cataclysm when I used an old Refer-a-friend char/account at 67 to level up to 80 and that was that.

I raided untill the end of WOTLK and left retail after like 2 month into cataclism

Was always on and off at TBC, returned for WotLK then quit for good after a few Ulduar raids...
I didn't like how they exacerbated an already grind heavy game instead of working on content that got people into the game in the first place in TBC. And when I noticed them homogenizing the classes in WotLK I said "fuck this, I'm out."

Cataclysm like most, and since then i quit playing wow, came back just to play there (never played vanilla tbh)
