Yeah. We get it. Retail leveling is retardedly easy and presents no challenge whatsoever. We know. And yeah, with some abilities like Victory Rush, you can just run around and pull like 10-15 mobs and effortlessly cleave them down, healing 15% of your health each time one of them dies. And this is just in quest greens/blues.
There are some things I like about current retail leveling, but the braindead-easy difficulty is not one of them.
It's kinda the reason I only leveled 1 character to 100, is because leveling is so boring and monotonous.

Pretty sure it wasn't until 2.3 that almost all of the elite quests/mobs in vanilla zones were changed to non-elite.
