[Mac user] Running WoW through wineskin or windows??

by Martin » Sat Jan 09, 2016 4:24 pm

Hello, I have a Macbook Air (PC MASTER RACE loljk) and after having played on WoW Client for Mac, I've mainly had login-issues and overheating issues. (I did try changing settings ex; vsync etc., deleting WDB and WTF folders).
Now I've seen some people saying they run WoW through the Boot Camp feature (running Windows on Mac) and some running WoW through the software Wineskin.

So I was wondering if anyone have any experience or knowledge regarding these two options? Could they be a solution to my problems? Maybe you have other options/tips for me aswell? Because I'd really like to play again!

P.S. not tech-savvy so please do imagine you are explaining this to an ogre ..(no offense to ogres).
Thank you <3

Im not a mac user, but everyone that I know who plays on a mac always ran into issues using the mac client. The vanilla client was designed around Windows software as far as I know, so using wine or booting windows and downloading the win client should help. Try it out
