so im all new i have never played any WOW game before so i don't know what to do to play on this sever/mod i saw that there were a guide on this forum that showed me how to downland the mod/game but i don't really want to downland the hole WOW game so can i buy original wow from the store and then make it connect/use the mod?

How can you play the game if you don't download the game? You should follow all the instructions outlined in the Beginner's Guide.

It explicitly tells you what files you need to download and install; you need these because they are a specific version (1.12.1) which is what this server is configured for. If you download the game from anywhere else, you run the risk of not being able to connect/login because of a version mismatch or modified .exe files. And no, I wouldn't recommend "buying" anything considering there's an abundance of 1.12.1 clients freely available out there.

Hello there! You seem a tad confused - this WoW has very little to do with retail WoW. Blizzard stopped evething regarding Vanilla in early 2007. You can't install the current version and then "install" Nostalrius like a Minecraft or Skyrim mod, because it's an entire standalone game at this point.

Put shortly, as AverageJoe says, you have to follow the Beginner's Guide and download the vanilla client. It's the only way - unless you have the original vanilla box, but that's a long and complicated route (and expensive at this point, if you didn't get it back then). Follow the guide!!
