Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I changed the realm list from the feenix server address. I can not log into the nostalrius servers. I deleted the wtf and wdb folders, and nothing changed.

When I use my feenix username and pw, it logs me onto their server, even though I changed the realm list.

Can anyone help?

You have to download a brand new 1.12 wow. You can't change realmlists on the one you've downloaded from feenix.

The feenix client appears to have a modified .exe if you search rebirth wow website they offer the exe to download to fix this. I had the same problem myself.

If you don't want to download another client, I'm sure you can create a realmlist entry in the config.wtf file instead of the realmlist.wtf file and it should work with the Feenix client.

Your best bet is to download clean WoW 1.12.1 because Feenix modified some of the files as others have already said. I'll send you link in PM.

So im having a weird issue,

So, originally, i tried to just change the realmlist from Rebirth's to Nostalrius, That didnt work so i went ahead and downloaded the new client and had it replace all the files from my original install location (from rebirth). Again, no connection, but its like the client didnt recognize the new realmlist and just kept Rebirth as the realm name in the bottom R corner. Did a full un/reinstall and same issue, the client still thinks its connected to Rebirth's server even after updating the realmlist multiple times. Any ideas?

when you install the new client, make sure to uninstall and then also delete all left over files from your installation folder.
some files may not be deleted, and/or overwritten with a new installation.

so if you installed WOW in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\
delete the whole folder "World of Warcraft" and it's contents after uninstalling the game.
