Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

So looking at Graves BiS spreadsheet, I see Overlords Embrace cloak, 10 stam, 7def 1% block and 7 stam on shield.

However wouldn't Redoubt Cloak 15 stam 10 def and 2% block on shield be better then?

2 less stam, 3 more def, 1 more block %, 95 less armor.

Ofc we could just say stam stack and go redoubt + stam shield, but I would like to focus on the first two.

Depends if you're tanking a boss or multiple mobs. If multiple, you could get some block gear to switch.
There is a softcap people like to aim at bosses, so with shield block active it's 100%.

You are. Block is useless. Avoidance is before in the attack table so you will always have excessive amount of block with Shield block.

Pretty sure it should have gotten nerfed in the -33% defense patch along with all the other defense nerfs. It's not only Redoubt Cloak they forgot, Force of Will also has 10+ defense instead of +7.

Yeah block% amounts to fuck all if your tanking a boss and specced into 1/5 imp shield block. It's very close to being useless.

7 stam anyways better XD fuck other shield enchants!

the block is better on rage starved fights, and the stam is better on rage capped fights.
