Rogue PvE (Sword spec)

I couldn't be arsed to dig through hundreds of pages of shitty pve spec threads spammed with nonsense, so I thought I'd make my own and as I know you nerds who raid rogues love to post shit and theorycraft, so here goes!

I'm wondering what prefered spec do you run with (if you'd have pre-raid gear, if that makes a difference)?

I'm debating wether to run 3/3 imp eviscerate or fill up Lethality and another point into 3/3 imp SnD.

^ Swapping 3 points from Ruthlessness into imp eviscerate honestly isnt terrible. The fact of the matter is Ruthlessness only works slightly over half the time, and the one combo point might not mean much. Imp eviscerate, at the very least, youre guaranteed to get value out of it. You can see the numbers change significantly, and further amplified if its a crit.

Pretty much what I would talent calc up if I ever would want to go sword spec. Except I'd take 3/3 imp gouge over 3% dodge. PvP not really being the focus aside, 5.5 sec gouge helps stop running adds in several scenarios, giving the aggro drawer breathing space and or the tank time to pick it up which I find more valuable than 3% higher chance to dodge a whirlwind/cleave.

Yeah, will probably do that, that one combo point comes along so easily anyway inbetween SnD and Evis and added if it doesn't go off all the time it's prob the way to go. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm casually ranking the rogue to r10 with some friends I ranked with on the warlock, they're on last week(s) now and I'm just rolling full pve idiet.

I think I've made up my mind to go with less in the talent that rewards a combo point, imp sinister crits and imp eviscerate.
