How good is this for rogues compared to other available trinkets?

Total junk. Heart if Hakkar is only okay for casters.

Yeah it's really nice for Ambush / BS in PvP, but that's it.

It looks like junk unless you're going to fire the buff right before a Cold Blood or Aimed Shot. But other than to hit players with the buff... not going to be that useful. I wouldn't want this over the 2% crit trinket myself, nor a Hand of Justice as a Rogue. I bet most ZG raids are reserving the heart for casters anyway because they have the best trinket. Ours is a PvP toy at best which you'd never raid with, and the tank on just looks like trash.

I'd use it on Vael, haven't done the maths or anything, but I think it's probably nice since most of your Backstabs would benefit from the effect, and then just Vanish and swap it.

Other than that, yeah it's nice to have a +330 AP bonus on your next BS / Ambush in PvP, but that's it.

Pretty sure that's wrong as it's effected by AP and crit.
Still not that great of a trinket, but decent for burst in a pvp situation.
Though Renataki's is the god pvp trinket of course.

It's not affected by AP, but by crit, talents (Murder, Lethality, Opportunity), and the way Ambush / BS have their damage computed.

Renataki is nice in PvP, but still easily replaced by a Thistle Tea, while ZHM isn't.
