How much hit is required to always hit a mob the same level as me (60)? I know that you need 8-9%hit for level 63mobs but what about level 60? I read somewhere that it is 5% hit for 2handed weapons, is it the same for ranged?

Ranged and 1h/2 melee should be the same. The 8% to 9% you refetence is for special abilities, not auto attack (white damage)

They're not the same, 9% hit means you will never miss white hits with a 2h or ranged weapon. Dual wielding gives you extra chance to miss.

it's 8.6% on every free server. vs boss (63), same level it's 5%. Ya tru edited, dunno where I got the 3 from.

Hit should be something like:

5 melee (60), 9 (63) yellow
3 spell (60), 17 (63)
24 dw (60), 27 (63) white

and until tbc there's always extra 1% miss.

The game uses 5% base chance for lots of thing. Like mob base crit, miss. Or player base dodge, parry, crit. The targets defense can modify this by 0.04% per point.

For Hunters Ranged and Two-Handed it should be like:

lvl60 = 300 defense = 5% hit
lvl 61 = 305 defense = 6% + 5*0.04% = 6.2% hit
lvl 62 = 310 defense = 7% + 10*0.04% = 7.4% hit
lvl 63 = 315 defense = 8% + 15*0.04% = 8.6% hit

This means 9% hit PvE and 5% hit PvP

For stat weights i made my own calculations which was quite a challenge. I only used buffs that are easy to get and keep. Kings, Mongoose, MotW, JuJu AP.

For MM x/31/x i came up with:
1% hit = 38.611 AP
1% crit = 36.383 AP = 12.004 AGI
1 AGI = 3.031 AP


Fang of the Faceless = 64.38 AP
Brutality Blade = 63.66 AP

Bone Slicing Hatchet = 39.4
Assasination Bladu = 36.38

And

For Survival 1/20/30
1% hit = 40.223 AP
1% crit = 37.012 AP = 10.706 AGI
1 AGI = 3.457 AP

Brutality Blade = 68.12 AP
Fang of the Faceless = 65.01 AP

Bone Slicing Hatchet = 44.94 AP
Assassination Bladu = 37.01 AP

Only for casters (15 resistance that cannot be substracted)
