About Priest Leveling

I really believe disciple is the best levelling spec for a solo-priest.

Your gameplay won't be so much fun, but you'll be efficent and "fast".

Basically, you're going to shield yourself and wand mobs to death (with the occasional SW:P).

Here's the spec I would use:

Get wands_spec/shield/stamina asap, then Spirit Tap and Meditation.

Main gear focus, naturally, is to keep your wand upgraded, whenever you can.

At level 41/45 you could respecc to full-shadow, but you will be drinking alot...


EDIT:
For real, spec in shadow before you get Shadow_Weaving/Darkness/Shadow_Form is a REALLY bad idea.
Not to mention you will be constantly drinking...after every pull.
Levelling as Disciple/Shield/Wand has no downtime at all...
Also, do not underestimate Improved_Inner_Fire....while soloing you will be hit alot from melee (and casters too) mobs.
Mental_Agility will be good, if you use SW:P on every mob.
Mental_Strenght is good as well....more mana won't hurt...you'll last longer before drinking.
Divine_Spirit your choise...but some more spirit never hurts.

It was my idea at first, and I made the same spec ^^

But after all other answer i thought i was a fool .
But the Shadow spec will be the best after lvl 40, to DpS.

So I'm not a fool!!! ^^ thanks. And thanks too for the others opinion, their were usefull .

I will test this spec and If I don't like i will change to shadow, but I think it will be good.

I've always assumed shadow was the only leveling spec (with imp wand of course). Basically I'm trying to level to 60 ASAP so my questions are, if I decide to level disc or holy, should my first 5 points still be in spirit tap? Spirit tap is still crucial for all leveling specs, correct?

I understand wanding(with 5/5 wands) is the most important part about leveling a priest but I'm curious how I should spend my first 15 or so talent points if I'm looking for the fastest leveling speed.

Im not really sure in wich order its most effective to pick these talents, but my instinct tells me the Spirit Tap > 25% Wand Damage. Remember you'll have both these talents at level 19, and from my experience its between lvl 20-45 where wand leveling really shines above the rest of the specs.

People who say leveling disc is faster don't know what they're talking about.

Go shadow, get spirit tap, stack spirit on your leveling gear, and collect xp.
