Is this talent worth getting and can someone confirm that it works?

I have it because I use vamp embrace a lot, I am in the warlock group so they can lifetap. My dps is lower because I have to spend time keeping vamp up, putting 2 talents into improved vamp, and it increases my threat. I know the top DPS shadow priests don't even spec into it, let alone use it at all. My guild's top DPS is usually the warlocks, but other guilds are usually melee dps (we only have a single rank 14, other guilds have numerous).

If you are looking for higher DPS, don't spec it. If you are looking for more utility, spec it.

It's healers' job to heal
Besides, you're wasting a debuff slot if you use VE.

i specced into it trying to play around with it. the theory is what haitharn says. and warlocks love it.

it has some application in ZG but it's not really worth the talent points. even without 2/2 it generates mostly overheal and threat.

i cannot advise it.

Ya once AQ comes and I respec, I'm not gonna spec into it. I'll prob still put up vamp embrace, but not waste 2 points for it, when I could have more threat reduction

You can use it on trash. It's not worth the global or the debuff slot on bosses.
