Me being a smartass is indirectly answering the question. If he wants to know the answer he would save time and effort paying the respec cost himself and testing it, otherwise he will be hardpressed to find a Warlock who actually used 5 points into that spell and its improvements.

5 points would be hard yes, 4 points is probably the majority though.
It works fine.

Amplify Curse doesn't work on it though, it doesn't get consumed. Not with my 3/4 improved CoEx anyway.
