Is the quest "An Imp's Request" bugged?

Hi,

I recently did the quest "An Imp's Request", because i saw that you could get an awesome staff from it the quest.
But upon completing the quest chain i didn't receive any reward besides exp.

Is the quest bugged? or has i been changed so you dont get the staff anymore?

Post a bug report, I'm pretty sure you are not the only person to have thus happen.

the soul reaver wasnt added until patch 1.8

The Soul Harvester (as well as the Abyss Shard trinket and the Robes of Servitude) were added with the "Trolls of a Feather" quest that they added for Sunken Temple in 1.8 (The Emerald Dragon patch). Obviously that update isn't live on the server yet but once it is you should be able to go back to the NPC and pick up the rest of the quest chain and get your item if you still need it and haven't found anything better by that point.
