Go Orc if PvP racials are your main concern (no matter what various censuses here suggest - we all know that everyone will reroll Rogue after couple of ganks :) , and resisting Cheap or Kidney can be priceless - not to mention Hammers, Intercepts and so on).

That being said - I made my PvP Lock Undead - for the looks (Orcs are fitting much better as Warriors/Shamans etc.), clearly superrior /dance and /laugn (also, their racials are far from useless).

PS Maybe you can make female Orc? They are both sweet and fit much better with witchery

What you get for being orc warlock:

Legitimate chance to resist stuns from : Paladins, Warriors(charge/intercept resist and kite? ever heard of it ? ), Hunters, yes there are actually hunters that run intimidation/scatter spec earlier in vanilla for control purposes and that extra time when resist intimidation can swing the 1v1 in your favour and then rogues, no need to explain this one probably.
Also you can remove fear off yourself with devour possibly.

What you get as undead :

Fear removal which can be avoided WAY easier than stuns from rogue, warrior and hunter, also when feared you can devour it off yourself, priest is pretty much whatever for warlocks so it leaves a mirror vs another lock.

So basically 1 situation where wotf is useful ( vs warlocks and on rare occasions - priest ) you trade that off for completely broken stun resist vs various of opponents ?

Well obviously if you prefer to role-play eating corpses and looking like rotten carcass then its up to you, but for pvp the choice is obvious - orc.

@Dog Don't forget Intimidating Shout is also a thing.

That said I still think Orc is superior. There are a lot more stun effects than there are fear effects in the game, and for Warlocks stuns have potential to be more problematic.

Honestly, the real answer is what play-style you want to go for. If you want to go SL with a felhunter, Orc is the better choice. If you want to want to go destruction with a succubus, warlock is the better choice.

You balance out your weakness from the opposing classes with your pet. Succubus' are great against warriors / rogue / paladins / ferals / hunter. Felhunter is great against mages / warlocks / priests / druids.

SL / Felhunter + 25% stun resist gives you a much higher hp / flat survivability against melee and the felhunter counters casters. Destruction or SM/Ruin with succubus + wotf gives you the CC to survive against melee and gives you fear / charm immunity to counter priests / warlocks.

There is obviously no clear answer, these are the best 2 pvp racials in the game. Choose the one that fits your play-style best.

Edit: As an alliance warlock, please choose Orc.

To the OP. For PVP go Orc. The one thing a lock will die from more is stuns. Undead for PVE as you can break fear and have more uptime on a boss. As well, well, the synergy from corpse eating with your class abilities is nice.

You can eat corpses in combat which a lot of people do not take advantage of. Including rogues. Fighting two things, kill one, fear (or gouge if rogue) eat the corpse. Next fear/gouge bandage.

Will of the Forsaken < 25% stun resist chance - priests and locks are uncommon, pet can remove most fears. Stun resist helps against warriors, rogues, paladins etc. Rogues are the bane of locks.

Underwater breathing < 5% more pet damage - flat out damage increase

Cannibalize > blood fury. However, Cannibalize only heals a measly 35% hp over 10 secs. A heavy runecloth bandage heals for 2k over 8 seconds. This racial is only useful if you don't bother with bandages and don't have heals.

10 shadow resist > axe expertise (very low, only good against priests and locks which are uncommon again)

Orc wins.
