Im a mage, which proffesions should i train? and why?

For a PvE focused mage, tailoring is a strong first choice because you can craft the Bloodvine set. A good second choice might be enchanting or alchemy. Alchemy to save a bit of money on consumables, and make a bit of coin. Enchanting if your guild needs it and, also great for making coin.

For a PvP focused mage, engineering is an absolute must, grenade stuns can easily decide fights. A strong second choice is mining, to support your engineering habit, and make a bit of coin.
