I've already completed my level 10 hunter quest and obtained my pet.
after queuing and fighting in my first battleground, my pet became bugged:
it acts as though it's not really mine.
it does not have a happiness meter, nor does it learn pet talents.
i cannot rename it.
it has taken on it's original pre charm name / size.
additionally, when out of combat it heals like an npc.
i cannot abandon pet as i do not have the option (only dismiss or cancel)
i cannot charm a new pet (even when mine is away) as it says i already own one.
i have logged in and out to try and fix this issue to no avail.
when the pet dies, i do not need to revive it. i simply call pet and a new version comes out.
i cannot put the pet in the stable because when i go to the stabler, no active pet shows up (even when my pet is out)
the pet does level up as normal.
please help!
