On Nostalrius, it has always been against the rules.
People need to read the rules before they invest so much time into something and get banned.

Reading the rules means nothing, and youre a fool to believe otherwise. My friend was ban for breaking no rules, and they ban his entire account, when THEIR OWN FUCKING TERMS OF SERVICE say that its a character ban. Nostralius can't even follow their own rules.

Oh, I know the rules don't really matter. The thing is, the Nost admin will do whatever they want because it is ultimately their own "private server". I'm surprised that so many people are surprised by the way staff handles everything.

Remember kids, you're playing on someone else's private playground.

Thats true. But on that note, this "private playground" took 5 years - said by the staff themselves - to develop.

Keep giving out permabans (rather than temporary bans, like a 24 hr ban or a week long one), and eventually this expensive playground will feel very empty.
