Black Screen Issues

I've been having issues with black screens when I launch the game client. I'm unable to even get to the login screen.

I downloaded the mac client that someone was kind enough to post on the forum (which everyone else doesn't seem to have a problem with running), but upon running it, I get a black screen every time. 9/10 times, the cursor will disappear after a few seconds and the screen will be entirely black. Other times the cursor remains but nothing ever happens.

Not sure what to do. I really want to play, and it seems like other mac users haven't had any problems. What's the deal?

I am having the exact same problem. Also made sure the realmlist was accurate and deleted the WTF and WDB files but to no avail.

I thought that was pretty much a windows issue. Try updating drivers. refer to this link for some ideas:
