Can't connect to server

I decided to log in again after a few weeks and now it keeps saying "Disconnected from server" whenever I try to log in. I checked the realmlist, I cleared out unnecessary addons.

Greetings! I understand that you have a problem with the Client, have you tried to delete your WTF and WTD folders? If this don't work try to re-install your Client

Unfortunately none of these things helped.

the server just can't handle the load. try again after the chinamen went to sleep.

The problem is not on your end Tommh. No green will admit it, but it's Nostalrius's servers these days are like $2 whores choking on too big of a load.

Use a Europe VPN. Western hemisphere countries have some odd snag and can't connect to the authentication server through normal means 50% of the time.

A European VPN? I'm living in west-EU
I've tried logging in literally a 100 times, it doesn't go through. It's definitely on their end as all other servers work perfectly fine and I haven't changed anything in my network settings that could be crucial.

Try resetting your password? It seems your end as a lot of us have no issues. I ran into one, but it only affects the western hemisphere as there is a node in Canada that routes to Europe that has been wonky the past month. Other than that one node, I have had no issues logging in.

Were you entering wrong passowrd? They have a temp ban on certain number of incorrect password attempts. It usually auto-lifts in 15mins-1hr. If not, make an appeal in support - account issues section.
