of course not. The admins are the ones who instate GM's so it is up to them to remove GM's who abuse their power or just love to swing teh banhammer for unecessary things.

I do wish the GMs would lean more towards "Warnings" regarding things like this (Spawning Gryphons, Multi-Boxing, etc)when it does not effect the long-term economy.

That's what has me legitimately afraid of the moderation team on this server. I have never maliciously abused or exploited anything in retail WoW, and I don't plan on doing it here, but if I accidentally do something while playing the game normally that the GMs say is a bug, then I might get permabanned with no warning for it.

Also, I cannot see what the GM saw. For all we know he was warned and continued to spawn the Gryphons.

That's why I put that little caveat in my last post. If they told him to stop, and he didn't, then it's his fault for the ban. But if that's his first and only offense, and he wasn't warned, especially because what he did was not an exploit or abuse of a bug, then this is an example of a serious power trip and a cause for concern.

wait you can get banned for lockboxs? are they fixed or still buged? im only lv 31 atm 89/300 lockpicking. But Lockboxs at 60 were always my thing its like free scratch off tickets:P So do i need to wait to touch anything with lockpicking until its fixed or is it g2g now?

This is ridiculous.

Raazi and GMs who constantly unleash permabans - rather than give temporary bans - hurt the server's population in the long run.

Raazi should have put his account under a TEMPORARY ban while he investigated whether the OP truly exploited or not, or whether this insane spawn of gryphons was due to bugs related to the server.

They are probably power tripping because the server got to populated and now they are in control of thousands of accounts. Tough break man I hope this gets settled soon.
