after restart the login server was swamped with connection requests

Suggest a friend to clear cache and change realmlist and it worked for him.

Hey, I can confirm that the connection problems are still there. I get a 'Disconnected' popup every time I type in my account details.

Just keep trying, and you will get in. Takes a handfull of attempts ... server is up and have been up for hours.

I don't think that spamming login is a solution. I need a real fix, which will not take like 20 minutes everyday to login.

I'm getting immediate disconnects.

If I delete Config.wtf then I can log in and get the realmlist. But as soon as I select Nostalrius Begins then I'm disconnected, and I must delete Config.wtf to get past the login prompt again.

This suggests the login server is working, but something's up with the realm.

Edit: Now works for me with my original Config.wtf.

Having a similar problem.

Authentication & retrieving the character list takes longer than usual, but it seems like I actually get into the game. However after loading the world in general, that's it. I'm standing in a dead Crossroads with no NPCs or other objects loading up, with me not being able to cast any spells and for some reason an empty friendslist.
My latency shows up as 0ms and if I wait for several minutes I will eventually get character models of NPCs and players loaded up, all labeled 'unknown'.

It's pretty much the same experience as running around while disconnected, right before you usually get kicked to the login screen.

Maybe it was a coincidence but I moved my Config file to another folder, tried to log in unsuccessfully, then moved my Config file back to the original folder and it let me in.

Same here startin and then disconected from server it's not the realm not the game everything checked it's ok just make the thinks like before the restart so all of us can connect or make something new ... i don't know what is bugged but really lot's of people can't log in
