UNABLE TO ENTER WORLD ONLY ONE CHARACTER

My Gnome mage (Packer level 15) was in redridge beside the inn and My computer shut down for no reason might of been my labtops fault. Now when i log on it just plays the theme shows the back round of the area i was in but no people or my character! this screen freezes until i sign out of my computer. any help to fix this problem would be greatly appriciated!

Hey dumbley,

Try disabling all addons and deleting the WTF/WDB folders. If WoW is installed in Program Files then you need delete the WTF/WDB folders here:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Classic

You could also try reinstalling to a new folder such as C:\WoW

Another user had a similar issue where he couldn't enter a specific area of Silverpine Forest without the game crashing; weird this is, it only crashed for one particular character of his. His other characters could enter it just fine. Turned out to be file corruption in his WoW installation folder. If Snow240's advice doesn't work, you could always try uninstalling your 1.12.1 WoW client, deleting all the loose files if any remain after the uninstall, and reinstalling it again.
