Hello to the Nostalrius Community!

I have a little problem with the password on my game-account (everything's perfect for my forum-account). I already sent an email to "[email protected]" to try to fix it (I'm waiting for a reply). But I'll post here just to warn future players and also maybe the staff can change the registering rules for the password. This way this problem will not occur any more.
If there is a moderator who can help me out, please PM me.

The Problem:
On the website, when you register, the only password limitation is that it have to be 6 characters or more. But there is no maximum limitation. That's the problem. I registered my account with a 19-characters password. Then I tried to log in to WoW. But unfortunately in the login screen of WoW you can only type in passwords that have maximum 16 characters. After the 16th character you are not able to add more. It just stops writing.
This way I'm not able to log in, and the only way to change the password is in-game.

Solution:
I think the easiest way to fix this problem is to set a maximum limitation (16) to the registering process in addition to the minimum of 6 character. This way even the longest password can fit in the WoW login screen and you are always able to connect.

Yes this has been an ongoing problem, we need to amend the sign on information guys.

Yup, I ran into this problem when I first registered and so did many others. There's been several threads made about it but so far no progress. Guess people will just keep finding out the hard way like we did.

As far as I know, only the administrators can assist with a password change/reset when unable to log into the game. You can try sending a private message to either Viper or Daemon if you don't receive a response from the e-mail. In the meantime, if you really want to play right now, you can just create a second account with a shorter password until the admins can reset your primary account's password because I've heard it can take days for them to get around to your request since they're so busy.

It's a little annoying bug, that can easily be corrected. This could prevent many PM's and Forum threads. I think I'm going to PM one of the two administrators you recommended me, AverageJoe.

I hope they'll fix this as soon as possible.
