Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Since Sunday I've been lagging horribly. At first I just attributed it to the high population but its been progressively worse reaching 4000ms most of the day and even just hitting 7000 while there is only 3500 players online. I can still download and stream normally so its definitely not my internet connection. Haven't had any lag on Nostalrius since launch and absolutely nothing has changed on my end so this is really frustrating. Anybody else have something like this happen and can offer a solution?

Do you live in a Chinese basement? :^)

4000ms? This has something to do with your internet connection in that case, because even when 6-7k are online I've got between 40-100ms.
