Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

im playing on a dual booted mac thats running windows. when i open nostalrius wow client, and im in the game, the mouse animation does not work, but the mouse does. so if i hover over a button in the game, the button lights up, but the hand/cursor animation does not move. it acts as if its an invisible cursor. can anyone help me with this problem? thank you.

turn off hardware mouse in the video settings in game?
