Stuck in flight loop

I was having an issue with my laptop overheating, it turned off in the middle of a flight to Ashenvale a couple of times. When I landed and used my hearthstone back to Stormwind, I was back on a Hippogryph flying North. It did not stop flying until it flew as far North as possible over the Great Sea. It turned around and dropped me out of the sky just out side of Undercity. I walked back and logged out. When I logged back in later, it happened again. When I finally landed I logged out and back in and I was flying yet again.
This happens every time I login. How can I fix this loop?
