System Actions not showing in chat

Opened WoW recently and it went through the vanilla trailer again as if it was first time playing on server along with interface options reset in game. Cannot find WTF folder and not sure if it was there before (I search for it by opening file location of the wow client i run via taskmanager). After interface reset, I got mostly everything back to normal but commands like /played and /roll do not show up in my chat while party members can still see my /roll. Help please!
Edit - Just went eat and reopened WoW to go through trailer again with all addons and interface reset except keybinds. What causes this?

Have you double checked that system messages are toggled on in the chat window?

If they are but the problem persists, delete your WDB folder and see if that helps, as it gets rid of the chat cache.

Can you explain how to toggle system messages on/off? I see how you can check say, yell, etc on/off but system messages doesn't seem to do that. Also i know it sounds crazy but I don't see a WDB or WTF folder in my file location of client.. please help!

My guess:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\1.12.1 - Classic Client\

I recommend moving your program files' 1.12.1 folder to your desktop or running it as admin through right clicking WoW.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility tab -> Always run as admin -> [OK]
Then move your WTF folder from your VirtuslStore directory to the folder with WoW.exe in it so you have your UI not revert back to default.

Also, can you do me a favor? Can you tell me the names of your chat windows in-game?
The main window "General" will show system messages, but the other chat windows will not.

Ok the search term you linked didn't work but i found my virtual store and wdb and wtf were inside. I moved folder to desktop but the wow app inside it isn't named wow.exe and doesn't have compatibility tab whereas it does when i right click it from taskmanager and checked run as admin. Just wanted to give you all info don't know if any of that is bad or fixable so now i move all the wow folders in virtual store to the folder that i put on desktop? And i tried to upload screenshot but i couldnt open it as its a tga file and the tga opener i downloaded wouldnt respond when i tried. I have a general, combat, and custom pst tab (for whispers). Sorry for lengthy reply.
TLDR do i just move all wow folders in virtual store back to the classic client folder? do i delete wtf and wdb to fix chat? do i need to screenshot and show you my chat?
