User: Lyxell
Computer: LINUS

This application has encountered a critical error:

Program: C:\VanillaGaming_1121_Pack\WoW.exe

I get a very similar message. My wife and I just started playing, so I thought maybe it had to do with some kind of IP exception. Any help on this subject would be great!

After research: Most likely the same error.

eXperienCe wrote:Update your video card drivers. After research, it seem this error occurs when display drivers are out of date.

What video card do you have?

If you don't know how to check what video card you have you can go to:
Control Panel > System and Security > System > Device Manager

In Device Manager > double click on Display adapters

When you know what video card you have, make sure you are up to date on your driver. You can download the newest driver for your video card by googling your video card.

Example: I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, so I would Google > NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 driver

If that doesn't work:

1. Load all the way into the game
2. Type /console fixedfunction 1
3. Hit enter
4. Exit and restart the game

If you can't apply this in-game go into the World of Warcraft > WTF folder. Open the Config file with Wordpad and add the link > SET fixedfunction "1"
