Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I find it very frustrating that I've gathered 12 Arena Master trinkets, and that they start a quest, but the follow-up quest, Arena Grand Master, is not in the game, making it impossible to use the trinkets for what they were intended for.

I PM'd Daemon the other day about the Arena event in general. He informed me that since the Arena event was released in 1.4 that it has been discontinued for now, to be reinstated at a later date.

However, the quest in question "Arena Grand Master" was not working at all as I had collected some trinkets as well and was not offered this quest, so that in itself is certainly a bug.

I'm bummed because the arena event is great fun and pretty much the only FFA PvP in WoW!

But, if we are playing 1.4, why are we then denied the Arena event, if it was implemented in 1.4?

We are "Pre" 1.4, so that is their reason for disabling it. Though with all the other features in the game that are definitely 1.4 and after, I feel the arena event should definitely stay in. Promotes quite a battle every three hours in STV, especially at peak times

Aye, the event is a fantastic thing about the game. And it would seem odd not to have it >_<
