COD bag scam. Alliance player Fontanchik

I'd like to report a level 1 bot Fontanchik bulk CODing out scams to various alliance players.

Thats not even a scam he just offers you to sell a bag for 99g? No promise of whatever mount inside.

But on that topic: you should rly start IP banning the real offenders, what do they care if their lvl 1 gets banned.

yeah... I had a mail addon that auto accepted his scam. I lost 99g and the GM just said "We can't refund your gold but we'll investigate it and ban him" and when I asked why gold wasn't refundable I was told "We don't make the rules, we don't even investigate it we just respond to tickets"

then I asked if after an investigation I would get my gold back
"No."

Why don't you ask the addon author to refund the gold?
That doesn't sound like a Nostalrius problem.

Such people will not always get banned.
I had a C.O.D mail saying it was an offer for a Christmass mount from the account name Nostalrlus. Didn't accept it and made a ticket with screenshot.
GM said person wouldn't get banned.

At least I didn't buy a 8 slot bag for huge amount of gold.

Since I'm the GM that did speak with you, I have explained you that Gamemasters don't make the rules, we just enforce them.

It got explained multiple times, that we don't recover the lost gold and that players have the responsibility for these scam attempts.

You also got made aware of the fact, that Gamemasters investigate scam attempts & indeed ban the players that try it, but still don't recover the lost gold even if we confirm the offense.
