One or more Network protocols are missing

Good afternoon all,

I am new to Nostalrius and enjoying it very much being a TBC WoW newcomer but I have come across a problem.

I am running Nost off of Windows 10 and I've recently gotten the error:

"One or more network protocols are missing on this computer"

And then I lose internet connection. To test this, I copied the game off to an external drive, uninstalled the game and restarted my machine and my network returned. I then booted the game off of the external drive which got me in and playing but only to have the same error pop up 10 minutes later. Unplugging the drive and rebooting resolved this.

I'm desperate to play again. Anyone experience this at all?

For missing network protocols, you can find a lot of solutions online. There's multiple solutions because different protocols may show up through different methods. There are tools you can download (be wary and skeptical), then there's the "netcfg -d" command in command prompt that can fix the issue for you. You can also tweak your NetBIOS and Firewall or Antivirus to get it to work. There are more solutions you can find online, if these don't work.
