How to change account password

Please advise how to change the password on the account I'm using to login to the game server. (Not the account on the mesage board.)

.account password $old_password $new_password $new_password

Best to go into an instance by yourself and input that in /say, so you don't accidentally say your password to nearby players.

UPDATE: The new password reset feature is now live. If you're still getting errors during login, try resetting the password using the e-mail address you registered your account with. Make sure it's less than 16 characters in length.

this doesnt work, it simply reports the old password is wrong

I have no idea and have not read anywhere that it is possible.

Just wonder how they would solve it.

Like every other serer i know out there has a account manager:
Change e-mail.
Change password.
Lock account to IP.
ect.

you can't change password without being in game and from GM private message I had they are unwilling to help in this matter.
