Clarification please.

I understand multiboxing with 3rd party software is not allowed. i.e: Lidc
I also understanding playing with multiple clients is okay for banking purposes, enchanting, etc.
I read somewhere on this forum that playing with multiple clients, so long as one tabs between clients to activate spells: is not considered multiboxing by the accepted definition of this server.
This raises three questions, with a fourth unrelated question;

1. Can boost my alts using a L60 without use of 3rd party software? (as this means I wouldn't be multiboxing by definition of this server)
2. Could I switch clients to offer a heal from an alt purely for efficient farming?
3. Can I keep an alt on follow, for purposes of transferring excess items from farming?
4. Finally, could I use a L60 friend to boost my characters on my behalf via mob tapping?

as stated in the FAQ:
1. "How about multi-boxing and bots ?
You're not allowed to use any form of program to control multiple characters at once. You are, however, allowed to be logged on, say, two characters. The only thing we allow multiple characters for, is professions and banking, this means you cannot /follow level 2 characters at once. This will result in a ban of one of the two, and if repeated, both. It is also not a problem if you are, for instance, three family members in the same house, playing at the same time. Each multi-box case will be judged individually, so don't worry if you're not doing anything wrong.

What you can't do, is PvP with multiple characters, Dungeon with multiple characters, Raid with multiple characters, etc.

If you are two people playing two characters - no problem. If you are 5 people playing 5 characters - no problem."

2. The number one - no, it's not allowed.

3. That is quite a good question. Maybe you could mark it as "profession". That is a greyish area from my point of view. But rather go once more to the mailbox until it's settled with GMs and authorities.

4. If he plays the lvl 60, no problem. If you use the lvl 60 you will get banned.
In fact whitekidney was boosted by Sol when he lost his pet and had to make up time he lost by levling his new pet. So mob tagging is allowed.

I understand a free server not wanting to allow it as much, see as there is nothing in it for the host, but it has been and always will be allowed on blizzard server. I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to at least use a 2nd account for banking.

a level 60 friend can kil your mobs if u tag them no prob ( as long as its 2 different ppl playing the chars )
however, any sort of benefit to level on a separate client i.e follow withheals, follow with dps help is not allowed and can lead to a perma ban.
I wouldnt risk going into the grey area, just sounds really stupid also...who the hell follows for profession? mail stuff to ur alt and have him sit in town like a good boy.

That's why the devs agree with you and you are allowed to bank with a 2nd account. Some people just exaggerate.
But Nost devs show good midground :3

I talked to a GM today, they said that tagging a mob and having someone outside of the group kill it is considered boosting and is prohibited. If seen I was told to report it to a GM.
