Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I disguised myself as a Scarlet Crusader to obtain the quest called In Dreams and went to talk to Highlord Taelen Fordring. I guess I talked to him too soon after the guy in front of me and now the quest is bugged. He's just standing there without a quest giver icon above his head.


I'm not sure what to do now.


My in game name is Trendy and I'm standing right next to the quest giver.

Me and a friend had a similar issue. This is how we solved it:

Open a GM ticket (under Stuck), describe the issue. A GM came to assist us, I kid you not, 5 seconds after the ticket was submitted (probably was standing there waiting for us to make one ). Killed NPC, respawned it, quest worked fine.

There are known issues with this quest and from my experience the GMs are doing a good job assisting people. Just contact them and be patient.
