Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I noticed that the scorpids in LBRS near last boss have a near instant respawn rate. As a aoe farming mage i am curious if farming these guys is an exploit as I dont recall them having insta-respawns in retail. Can someone confirm if this is considered an exploit?

Bump. Can anyone comment on this? It would be the most juicy spot as scorpids are notorius for dropping thr best vender trash in my eyes but i cant make the call on my own if this is an exploit or not.

They are supposed to respawn that fast, yes.
