This is #1 correct. Using that client to log into the same account will immediately boot the previously online character.


if that's the case then Shamz definitely needs armour with "of the ghey" then...

I have been to wailing caverns for about half a minute looking at my alt when I alt+F4 and logged main to help a friend.

Well that's because you obviously didn't understand what I wrote.

You're logged in on Account A and someone ganks you.
You have another wow login screen open while playing with Account A details filled in.
You log in on Account A on the other wow client that you have open, thus disconnecting your first wow client.

Grats, you now log out instantly.

I could be wrong but I think alt-f4 will instantly make your character disappear regardless. It should leave you logged in for 20 seconds on the server, even though your client closes instantly.

How about u log horde lvl 1 char and check?

If offline or online in your world zone (cuz he can log back in in the meantime) - alft4
If bg or capital city (in case he afk's) - normal

+ screens
+ fraps

Something?)
