Time to rank

I'm trying to get a feel for just how long it will take to achieve a high rank. I know its variable based on wins/hk's.
How long did it take for YOU to get R9? R13? I'm trying to get a grasp on hours/weeks.
Hopefully its possible to get R13 playing 5 hours a day during the week and ~8 on weekends?

That's enough for maybe R10. Double the hours with premades for R13.

Better find a way to have fun with your class and specc in pvp, you will forget the time you spend on pvp.

i dont know if the battlegrounds are full of premades, but if you are good with your class and the specc you choose, you would beat many people, even higher geared people. then you can sspend some gold on consumables to support the class and specc you are playing. You could do alterac valley i guess for a long time but im assuming its not gonna be that fun in AV because its not entirely fixed and affects the gameplay experience, so i hope on level 60 there is some pugs vs pugs atleast

getting r13 playing 40 hours a week will take like 5+ weeks just from 12-13
