BG's auto closing gives the losing team a win?

This has happened to me 20+ times now. We're winning Warsong Gulch(2-0) or Arathi Basin (1900/1000) and the game closes due to players leaving and the losing team is awarded with the win, or the game ends as a tie and no-one wins. This is absurd.
