These are just the buffs the rep grind got around 2.0, a few more came later on.
I don't even think most of this stuff is true. I can't confirm that you get + rep for finishing a game, as I can't find that change anywhere, and I don't have a retail account active atm. Also, I never remember increased rep from personally capping/defending a flag in AB or WSG, especially pre 3.0 (admittedly i did basically stop playing around 3.0 so I could be mistaken).
Normally I would grant you these points, as I can neither confirm nor deny, and you seem to have more knowledge on the subject than me. However, I don't think you do have more knowledge on the subject, as I actually researched and here is what I found:
WSG
Patch 3.3.0 (08-Dec-2009): The timer has 25 minutes now
Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009): There is a now a 20 minute timer on this battleground. After that time, the team with the most flag captures wins. If this would result in a tie, the team that captured the firs flag wins. If neither side has captured a flag, then the game ends in a tie awarding a single mark to all participants.

AB
Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009):
When standing at a capture point that you control, you will gain a buff called Honorable Defender. This buff grants +50% honor gained from kills.
The time it requires to capture a base has been reduced to 8 seconds, down from 10 seconds.
The game now ends when one team reaches 1600 victory points, down from 2000.

So, none of the changes that I can verify through a source other than actually playing retail coincide with the patch you're claiming. Since you were wrong about the patch--and that I cannot verify these changes--I respectfully think you're mistaken.
Even so, I acknowledge those changes, and I don't really think that these actually help you gain rep as all it does is make sure you can complete more games, which will certainly increase honor gain but not necessarily your reputation gain. This is especially true since you can not get reputation by turning in marks because there are none.
You're very welcome to offer your own evidence and I'll gladly admit my error and take up your position.
