Are you sure it wasn't on a peenix server?

I mean, you can get a 1300 frostbolt if you use a flask and AP... but dying to AP/frost mages is embarassing anyway.

This isn't TBC either, 2k frostbolts don't exist. Hell crits barely go over 1,5k atm.

I think i even saw a 2.7k Shadowbolt crit from a PvE geared warlock but i am not sure about it will have to check screenshots

As someone who basically has only played pvp healers in wow... i'll add my 2 cents worth 1....

priests basically need competent team mates to maximize their potential. pallies and shamans can take rogues and warrirors better, but the downside is no healing while running. Druids can just peace out, but are weakest healers.

priest are funner to play then pallies and shamans, and a have an aggressive play style, and can fuck with other healers better on the small scale. problem is you need a rogue friend to defend you.

benediction is a big come kill me sign....

use deviates/noggen / make friends with rogues / other healers.

look into queing with a holy pally /rogue to cover you when you get trained. or make a yell macro to get people to peel.

its not really a priest problem, more like just finding good people to play with.

all the healers have unique weakness in pvp. shamans have to spend 3-4 GCDs and 500-800 mana every fight / every time the fight moves, cant heal while running for example.

My mage doesn't even have full preraid BiS and my frostbolts crit for 1500. With toep its totally possible for 2000+ crits

also remember getting critted for a 2.9k frostbolt some days before.

also warlord warlock once hit our warrior for a 4k shadowbolt in wsg.

Generally PvP fights are over fast enough that in combat mana regen isn't that important compared to survival and raw mana pool. So I'd say Stamina priority 1, +heal priority 2, int priority 3.
