Is the Alliance fence in WSG even blizzlike?

People able to run through it and casters/hunters able to free cast nuke at will right through it...if this is blizzlike, then what's the point of even having the damn thing in the first place?!?

Don't remember if its blizzlike, but the LoS is. There is almost no LoS in WSG aside from bases and huts and that is 100% blizzlike. Also, running through the fence isn't possible with some race/gender combinations. Fairly sure tauren females are SoL there.
