Hes right imo, a green/blue geared spriest beats a green/blue geared mage super easy, while a well geared mage has the potential to 1v1 a geared spriest.
I dont believe it changes a tier list all that much tho, just changes certain rock paper scissors matchups.


Like i said cc is lot stronger with good gear and healing is harder, mage love fights where the enemy cant heal trough the damage and die fast before they can reach they, mage is another classe that get a lot better with super gear. To much damage to get close to they in time+to much damage to heal trough they damage=win win for mages.

I remember 80-85 twinks, healer trying to heal and boom someone just crit and make they go 100-0 on 2 secs, fight all about bursting fast/inside a cc/distance before the other could react.

We cant forget that getting better on 1v1 dont mean getting better on group fights, a rogue like i said on 1v1 your not supose to get hit, u should cc all u can and kill before u run out of cds, on group your gona get hit and have no cds and a fast fight means die for range before u can react or get close. So a rogue life get easier with good gear on 1v1 with all cds to burn and it get harder on a bg group fights with no cds...

Classes that like healers works a lot better on group if the damage is low, with big burst u die before u get heal and so on, range can kill faster before melee get close on big group and so on.

Blue vs blue x tier 3 vs tier 3 gear basics change how many hit before someone die, that complete changes the way fights go.

Yes is a big change:
Priest, if the damage is super low they can easily self heal and kill, if the damage is super high things gets a lot harder. Imagine trying to heal trough the damage of a dps nuking u on tier 3...

Enh sham, they get in hard hoping to kill on a single burst, if the damage is low the target can react and try to avoid that(kite heal etc), with huge damage is way to late.

Like i said some classes like slow fights and some classe/specs like super burst fights.

If they put arena 1v1 on vanilla im sure things would change every new tier of gear.

They get CC'd by top tier and lose anyway. Enh Shaman doesn't move to Tier S or Tier A. The reason for this is because gear will not be able to make up for all the powerful CC other classes have. Especially in a 1v1 Arena format where the Enhancement Shaman, with his very limited range of spells and abilities, has to walk up to their opponent.

Keep in mind that the list I created had the following boundary:

Green or blue was never a consideration to begin with. Which you seem to have an issue with, an issue that you shouldn't have had because I stated the list wasn't based on that to begin with.

Lets try this: make a tier list based on Tier 1 gear and a list based on Tier 2 gear. I'm curious to see what huge and significant changes you think would occur.

Geared warrior has tons of health and armor to absorb this damage, and warrior will start duel in def stance and shield. I remember top warrior vs rogue duels in vanilla and it was far from "rogue rekt warrior ez". Warrior can kill rogue much faster then rogue can kill him, if rogue screws up cc he is done

Rogue have a limit time to ''aply'' his damage to the warrior before stuns+blind+prep+restealth+repeat,etc runs out, better gear means everyone dies faster=better for the rogue.

Rogue lose bad if war is out of stun+blind+etc, but war cant attack if he cant control his char, faster fights=better for the guys trying to stunlock/cc/etc the enemy.

U cant understand what im saying, just imagine what would happens if they have hack the game and increase everyone damage a lot without changing they health, that would change a lot the way solo and group fights would go.

If u think about what place each classes would get on a 1v1 arena:

Mage would get better and better with each new tier gear.
Bm hunter would kick ass with crap gear and would get worst every gear upgrade.
Bursting down a healer would get easier the better the gear gets.

I think if u could do arena 1v1 the ladder would change a lot from tier 1 to tier 3, even if they make tier 3 gear for all specs, something that they dont :lol:
