This way of grinding honor on the alliance for the horde in open world content, primarily the higher level questing hub zones, is not only time consuming and extremely unrewarding for the player, it also promotes an easy way for swaying casuals away from the game quite quickly and allowing these ranks to be handed out to those who dont deserve it. Due to that fact that killing people at those levels (48-54) as a decent level 60 character, not only requires minimal effort and "skill", but also promotes a unhealthy way to approach the PvP system. I have no solutions to fix this problem. I know the main cause of this is the Q for bgs as horde. (I know trust me) I feel that contributing to such a system with this "open world PvP", if you can even call it that. Is swaying away alot of the crowd to faction change to the horde specifically to avoid the horrendous unfair level 48 vs Centurion 60 battles they have to endlessly endure on a regular, hourly basis. Just my 2 cents, IMO - Change honor rewards based on level of the character i.e: 48 = 50 honor to a 60, 60 killing a 60 is whatever it is now. I have had many friends race swap to horde specifically for this reason and its quite sad to be honest.
