Blue quality PvP armor set upgrade

Hi folks,

Just wondering what will happen with the blue PvP set upgrade that is due in an upcoming patch. Will this change be an upgrade to existing armor pieces, or will it be require the purchase of new pieces (and most importantly, if so will it require re-attaining the required rank should someone have reached R10 and subsequently lost rank from inactivity)?

You will need to re-buy as they're completely different armor sets.

You will also need to have the correct rank to purchase (atleast this is what they've said)

Yes, you need to rebuy the new set since they are different item ID's.

No, they first said that but have changed their minds and the rank requirement is based on your lifetime highest rank once time comes to add the new blue set.

Sethzer hopefully this is correct, wasn't looking forward to grinding my way back up. RL is prohibitive of anything higher than R10 really, so this is great news, as the post-buff sets are certainly better.

Should be around AQ release, I think.

I hope that they keep the existing sets in-game seeing as they are much preferable for Ret/Reck Paladins given all the bugs affecting Seal of Command/Sanctity Aura
